Customer Reviews

Shannon and I do the alphabet lunch every week. This was our first time at George's Family Restaurant and we were not disappointed. The Omelette's are fantastic and so was the Italian roll-up. Shannon was our server and she was the best, so friendly and took the time to go over the menu with us. Shannon said EVERYTHING is great on the menu and we'll be back to try something different. Highly recommend this hidden jewel. Linda is such a pleasant person with a perfect personality for dealing with the public. We highly recommend this place for some wonderful home cooking and very fast service.

Old school diner, offering excellent value. Went there for breakfast, eggs, links, potatoes, coffee, and a muffin for less than @$10. Unbelievable. Good service in a small diner. If you're looking for a quick meal and excellent value, try it out.

This is the best food and service I have ever had. I visit my grandparents in Trenton every summer and eating at George's is one of the highlights of the trip. If I won the lottery I would give George's as much money as it needs to stay afloat even though I only eat there once a year. That's how good it is. Also their meals are cheap, you can get 2-3 meals for the price of a big Mac.

A good breakfast at a decent price at George's. Food was fresh and home cooked. George's is a time capsule in the best possible way. Home run breakfast was a home run. Parking lot is a little tight but that's understandable with everyone wanting to grab a seat here.

Neat little old-school small restaurant. Diner would describe it better, at least to me. Wife had a cabbage roll that would feed 4 easily. She absolutely loved it. She also had the split-pea soup. So good. I had the chicken noodle soup and lake perch. Outstanding, both. Complimentary rice pudding was really good and a nice touch. The service was, without a doubt, some of the best we've ever had, thanks to our wonderful waitress, Jean. Her advice and friendly demeanor was one of our favorite parts of the visit. She seemed to know most of the customers by name, something about them and genuinely seemed to care about them. Very rare. In fact, I hate the terms "waitress" or "server" with a passion. Especially in this case. Anyway, windy as this was.. It was a great visit by some out of towners to a great local eatery. And before I forget, the prices are almost too low to believe, especially for the quantity and quality.
